Profile

This upscale boutique feels like the long-lost link between the iconic designer wardrobes of Twiggy and Jackie O. With locations in Tokyo and Los Angeles, this renowned fashion reseller has been able to line its petite Nolita space with a trove of mod Pucci dresses, Halston formalwear, Gucci handbags, and Courrèges jackets. The merchandise heavily represents the pre-psychedelic '60s, but the mint condition men's and women's clothing spans Studio 54's heyday through fashion highlights from the glam, decadent '80s. Vintage fashion connoisseurs and legions of stylists, editors and headlining designers—including Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui and John Galliano—have visited the warmly lit shop for inspiration since it's opening in the late-1990s. The elegant space is neatly arranged by item, so its Vogue-worthy patrons won't miss the assortment of fur wraps, fox-trimmed coats, oversized sunglasses, and authentic shoes from the last century.
