The glittering interior is probably worth the hike to the East Village (the name means “jewel box”), and despite the constant migration of sushi chefs, Jack and Grace Lamb’s unlikely restaurant remains the consensus choice among sushi snobs for the best sushi downtown even though it’s often impossible to find a space at the packed sushi bar. — Adam Platt

I don't know about some of these reviews but I eat sushi 3 or 4 times a week and Jewel Bako has ruined the chance of me ever enjoying sushi elsewhere a little pricy but damn worth it
