Vulture Festival Announces Additional Events

Vulture.com, New York Magazine’s culture and entertainment site, has announced additional events to the lineup for the 2016 Vulture Festival, a series of high-profile events celebrating the best of today’s television, music, film, and more. The festival will take place May 21 to 22 primarily at Milk Studios, with select events at other venues in New York City.

Additions to the two-day live showcase, curated by Vulture’s editors, are:

· Additional performers at comedy night featuring Sarah Silverman, with Todd Barry, Aparna Nancherla, Lizz Winstead, John Early, and Michelle Wolf at BAM.

· An exclusive first look at AMC’s upcoming New York–set drama series Feed the Beast, followed by a conversation with its star, David Schwimmer.

· A morning with the Muppets featuring New York Magazine senior editor Chris Bonanos in conversation with Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear, followed by talks with longtime talented Muppet performers Steve Whitmire and Eric Jacobson. Special appearances by Animal and Beaker.

· A ​Rent sing-along to celebrate the Pulitzer Prize– and Tony Award–winning iconic rock musical, with top talent from on and off Broadway, including Billy Eichner, Seth Rudetsky, Adam Kantor, Lena Hall, Nikki M. James, and many more!

· Live taping of the Vulture TV Podcast in the Casper Podcast Lounge featuring New York Magazine television critic Matt Zoller Seitz and Vulture editor Gazelle Emami with special guests Rachel Bloom and Aline Brosh McKenna, co-creators of the CW’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

· An exclusive first look at AT&T Audience Network’s new original series You Me Her, followed by a conversation with creator John Scott Shepherd, along with stars Greg Poehler and Priscilla Faia.

· An exclusive first look at AT&T Audience Network’s third season premiere of Kingdom, followed by a conversation with creator Byron Balasco, along with cast members Frank Grillo, Kiele Sanchez, Jonathan Tucker, Matt Lauria, Joanna Going, and Natalie Martinez.

The weekend will kick off on Friday, May 20, with an exclusive opening-night party at the Top of the Standard, co-hosted by DirecTV.
