Vulture is hitting the 2017 Sundance Film Festival like never before, setting up an exclusive media studio dubbed the Vulture Spot at Rock & Reilly’s Park City from January 20–23 to host video interviews and photo shoots with Sundance talent from the festival’s top films. The content produced at the studio will run on Vulture.com and Vulture’s Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts over the course of the festival and beyond, with global music and entertainment platform TIDAL as the official sponsor. Each day, the world of music and movies will collide as TIDAL shares exclusive interview clips from the stars passing through the Vulture Spot. Members and nonmembers can check out TIDAL.com/Sundance for additional content, and nonmembers can sign up for a complimentary two-month subscription. Vulture will also co-host two after-hours VIP events at the space, located in the heart of Park City at 427 Main Street: the official Person to Person after-party on January 20, in partnership with J.Crew, and TIDAL X Vulture, a night of drinks and music with Mr. Best, Steve1der, and DJ Spider, on January 21.
THE VULTURE SPOT AT ROCK & REILLY’S
Vulture’s celebrity-video-interview and photo-shoot space, open by invitation January 20–23, will host top Sundance talent to produce a variety of exclusive content. Vulture and New York Magazine’s award-winning staff photographer Bobby Doherty will shoot Instagram-first portraits, while the site’s video team, in collaboration with TIDAL, will create produced videos as well as Facebook Live video. Roughly 180 actors, directors, producers, and other top festival talent, including Judd Apatow, Jon Hamm, Rashida Jones, Salma Hayek, Carey Mulligan, and John Legend are scheduled to come through the studio.
