New York Magazine’s 20th annual edition of its signature culinary event New York Taste will be held on Monday, October 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. (VIP hour 6 to 7 p.m.) at the Waterfront New York. Hosted by New York culinary editor Gillian Duffy, the event features more than 40 celebrated chefs and rising stars on the New York restaurant scene, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to City Harvest to help fight hunger in New York City. Tickets are on sale at nymag.com/taste, and regular updates will be posted to Twitter and Instagram using #NYTaste.
The tasting event will feature samples of signature dishes and drinks from world-renowned talent, including Neal Harden (abcV), Dan Barber (Blue Hill), Alex Guarnaschelli (Butter), Ariane Daguin (D’Artagnan), Miro Uskokovic (Gramercy Tavern), Jacques Torres (Jacques Torres Chocolate), Laurent Tourondel (L’Amico), Marie-Aude Rose (La Mercerie), Antoine Westermann (Le Coq Rico), Daniel Rose (Le Coucou), Masaharu Morimoto (Momosan Ramen & Sake), Greg Baxtrom (Olmsted), Audrey Saunders (Pegu Club), Corey Chow (Per Se), Dale Talde (Rice & Gold), among many others.
New York Taste hosts over 1,000 guests at the Waterfront New York, located at 269 11th Avenue, with general-admission tickets for $125 and VIP tickets for $225. The VIP ticket includes admission to a VIP preview hour (6 to 7 p.m.) and access to the VIP lounge, plus a VIP gift bag filled with a variety of culinary essentials.
