Playwright Horizons THE CAYMAN ISLANDS
There are few places more desirable for a winter getaway than the Cayman Islands, comprised of Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman. Each of the three islands, in their unique charm, romantic ambience, and array of culinary options, provide travelers with the perfect escape needed during winter’s onslaught of cold.
This winter, those undone by the frigid air and the Northern snowfall should look no further than the Seagate Hotel, an ideal destination for any vacationer looking to flee the cold for a week, or even a weekend, in the sun. The luxurious resort, just steps away from sun-soaked Delray Beach, is filled with opulent amenities, providing a coveted boutique hotel experience that’s equal parts intimate and family-friendly.
The Roxy Hotel Tribeca’s new subterranean jazz club, The Django, feels like a whole new world. With its vaulted ceilings, paint peeling into layers of emerald and sage hues, and vintage lighting fixtures, the club was modeled after the boîtes of Paris. The Django offers craft cocktails curated by James Beard semifinalist Maxwell Britten and small plates, all partnered with a brilliant entertainment lineup including NYC music scene fixtures Chris Norton and David Johansen. Performance times are Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.
