The New York Botanical Garden
The Edible Garden, a summer-long celebration of growing great food, offers opportunities for children and adults to better understand how plants provide the food and drink that are essential to maintaining life and enhancing wellness. Central Park Zoo
Get up close and personal with one of the most elusive creatures on earth: the snow leopard, now in a new home. The Allison Maher Stern Snow Leopard Exhibit replicates the scrubby evergreen forests in the mountainous region of Central Asia where the highly endangered snow leopard lives. The state-of-the-art exhibit features rocks that change temperature with the season, mimicking the cats’ native high-altitude terrain.
