The celebritization of Brooklyn shows no signs of abating: Actress Lili Taylor may be next to join the ranks of recent thespian immigrants to the borough. (Heath Ledger, Michelle Williams, Peter Sarsgaard, and Maggie Gyllenhaal are already there.) The actress was spotted in Cobble Hill one recent Sunday, patiently making her way through a crowded open house. Back in Manhattan, comedienne Susie Essman, who plays loutish agent Jeff Greene’s fearsome wife, Susie, on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm and is one of The View funnywoman Joy Behar’s best friends, is looking for a buyer for her West 76th Street apartment. Prudential Douglas Elliman’s Gerry Kendrick is handling the sale of the $869,000 one-bedroom, which has views of the Hudson River and Riverside Park. No word on where Essman’s going—there’s always Brooklyn.
