Star power must mean little in the Hamptons, where Kathleen Turner is still looking for a buyer for her house. The actress’s six-bedroom shingled traditional on Bluff Road in Amagansett first went on the market in late 2005 for a rumored $8 million, but found no takers. After a brief break, it’s been relisted at the more demure price (relatively speaking) of $6.995 million after a minor makeover, this time with Prudential Douglas Elliman broker Rachel Thompson. The ocean-view property overlooks a 25-acre preserve and has the de rigueur heated pool. Turner probably won’t be using the house much this summer, as she’s on tour as Martha in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
Back in Manhattan, 24 co-star Kim Raver, who’s in New York to tape episodes of the upcoming NBC series Lipstick Jungle (based on Candace Bushnell’s best seller), is said to have snagged a 2,000-square-foot rental in West Chelsea for a little over $12,000 a month. A publicist for her broker, Corcoran’s Tim Cass, would not comment.
