T here’s no New Yorkier acting gig than a role on Law & Order, and Linus Roache has reportedly put down roots. The man who plays the assistant district attorney in Dick Wolf’s indomitable procedural just closed on a two-bedroom, two-bath condo in far west Chelsea for $1.375 million. The apartment comes with a 300-square-foot terrace with views of the Empire State Building and the Hudson. Listing broker Richard Hamilton of Halstead Property had no comment about the sale.
In the East Village, musician John Legend has finally found a buyer for his condo on 3rd Street. The rather modest two-bedroom, two-bath, listed with Prudential Douglas Elliman’s Jason Walker, had been on the market for nearly a year until six weeks ago, when (according to Streeteasy.com) it went into contract. Legend’s sticking close by; The Wall Street Journal reports that he bought an apartment on East 4th Street this summer.
