As the local ramen scene heats up, Ippudo NY expands its offerings with a roster of new soup specials starting October 30 and changing monthly. First up: the Chinese-inspired tan tan men (pictured), enriched with sesame paste and ground beef, at lunch; and spicy miso ramen at dinner (both $12). Those sound enticing, but hardly as outré as a tomato and mozzarella variation on the ramen horizon. 65 Fourth Ave., nr. 10th St.; 212-388-0088.
