Each fall at I Sodi, owner Rita Sodi’s home in Florence, her gardener gathers the green olives from the trees on her property and has them pressed at the local frantoio. Sodi just received a shipment of the resulting olio nuovo, the aromatic new oil, which she’s showcasing in such classic Tuscan preparations as fett’unta and pinzimonio. Get it while it’s superfresh. 105 Christopher St., nr. Bleecker St.; 212-414-5774.
