It’s true that some people would rather chew on broken glass than book a table for Valentine’s Day. The chef-owners of Txikito have come up with a low-key option that might change their minds: seven pairs of pintxos—from beef-tongue skewers to shellfish croquettes—served on a cake platter for $32. There’ll be blackboard specials for two, and artist Alli Arnold is drawing place cards of sorts (pictured) to serve as mementos (240 Ninth Ave., nr. 25th St.; 212-242-4730).
