On July 9, Manhattan gets its fifth Whole Foods, and FreshDirect gets some much-needed competition in the 10007 Zip Code. Special features include a local-meat case, a kids’ aisle stocked with juice boxes and frozen waffles, and a shellfish-shucking station.
