Matzo Balls

Every year, more and more ethnically and culinarily diverse restaurants are getting into the (non-kosher) Passover dinner act.

  1. 1. Tabla Bread Bar

    11 Madison Ave., at 25th St.; 212-889-0667

What makes April 13 different from all other nights? Floyd Cardoz serves his first-ever Seder at the temporarily renamed “Unleavened Bread Bar.” The $100 menu (with wine) includes matzo with mango chutney, Goan-spiced gefilte fish, and early spring greens with Kashmiri spices.

  2. 2. Rosa Mexicano

    All locations

“Tropical haroset” and chopped liver with gribenes (a.k.a. chicharrones) are two of the Passover-themed specials on offer April 13 to 15.

  3. 3. Zoë

90 Prince St., nr. Mercer St.; 212-966-6722

Chef Michael Kaphan marries East and West Coast traditions with a “Soho Seder plate” and Napa Valley kosher wines, April 12 and 13; $45 prix fixe ($65 with wine).
