White Boot Brigade’s NYC Dinners

Ravaged by hurricanes and threatened by foreign competition, the Louisiana shrimping industry has taken a proactive approach, targeting chefs and their dining public directly. On June 20, the “White Boot Brigade,” so called for its characteristic rubber footwear, hits New York, where restaurants like Tabla and db bistro moderne will feature the tasty little crustaceans harvested in brackish inland waterways.
