    John McDonald means to make the Royalton’s restaurant hip again, via an aggressive redesign and a former Oceana chef.

    Laurent Tourondel’s barnyard shtick might seem out of place at the posh Ritz-Carlton, but thanks to top-notch ingredients and careful cooking, the gimmick works.
