Robin Givhan, contributing fashion critic at The Cut for the spring 2014 shows in New York and Paris, writes about fashion, culture, and politics. She served as the Washington Post's fashion critic for fifteen years, where her work was awarded the 2006 Pulitzer Prize for criticism. She continues to be a Washington Post contributor. From 2010 to 2012, she was a special correspondent for style and culture at the Daily Beast and Newsweek. She is the author of the upcoming book, tentatively titled One Night at Versailles, about a landmark 1973 Franco-American fashion competition.
