This Online Gizmo Showing How Different Kinds of People Walk Is Weirdly Captivating

Researchers at the BioMotionLab at Queen's University have published a cool tool in which you can see how the characteristics of gender, anxiety, weight, and happiness alter the human gait. It's weirdly captivating to play around with.

The authors explain that the tool "is based on walking data from 40 male and 40 female walkers. Using a motion capture system their movement[s] were recorded while walking on a treadmill." My scientific analysis: This is very useful for those who don't have a lot to do at the office today.
