The Chicago Cubs won the World Series last night for the first time since 1908. The game ran into the early hours of Thursday morning while the Cubs and the Cleveland Indians fought it out into extra innings. Who could have predicted it? Well, this one Twitter user predicted back in 2014. Sort of.
Of course, the tweet isn’t totally right. Despite a brief rain delay before the tenth inning, the game did come to an end and the world did not combust in a fiery apocalypse. There’s always next Tuesday, though!
