Are These Multi-Kazoo Covers the Song of Summer?

Pop quiz, hotshot: what’s the song of summer? Is it “Despacito”? Wrong. Is it “I’m the One”? Wrong. Is it “Slide”? Nope. Is it “Swish Swish”? It is not.

Here is the song of summer.

The people have spoken, and it looks like Izzy Humair’s cover of Panic! At the Disco’s smash hit is the 2017 song of the summer, soon to be heard over car radios and beach boomboxes near you.

But maybe emo and pop-punk music aren’t for you. Maybe you yearn for something a bit more retro this summer. Why not try this cover of “Mr. Sandman” on for size?

For the musical-theater nerds, how about this version of Spring Awakening’s “Don’t Do Sadness/Blue Wind”?

(A fun observation: At the end of this video, you can clearly hear that her roommate has taken some her own video of this, presumably to upload to social media somewhere. The content cycle never stops, folks.)

Anyhow, those are the three songs of summer. Take your pick.
