Insane Clown Posse Calls Out Shoddy Online Fur-Suit Retailer

This weekend, Violent J of the web-famous (and arguably normal-famous) rap duo Insane Clown Posse released an important message for everyone shopping online, calling out shady retailers for selling his daughter shoddy merchandise. If you asked me to create an artifact that perfectly encapsulates the weirder parts of the internet, it might be this video. It’s like Internet Mad Libs: Insane Clown Posse releases Facebook video calling out Alibaba for selling poorly made fur suit.

This is the first video in a new series that Violent J and his daughter Ruby are producing, calling out shady “snakes” who are scamming people out of hard-earned money. It’s the summer of scam, and ICP isn’t going down without a fight. “The Snake Busters won’t stop until all of these damn dogs are done sharing our air and good cheating people out of there honestly made, hard earned money,” they wrote on Facebook.

“Ruby ordered what we thought was a full-fledged, high-quality furry suit,” Violent J preaches. “But what we got was full-fledged furry poop.” Damn.

It appears that Ruby purchased a green-and-pink fur suit for $750 on AliExpress, one of the sites run by China’s version of Amazon, Alibaba. Apparently, it’s a pretty good suit:

The Costume are in top quality and can use in any occasion. The costume includes the the body, the hands and the feet.the of the mascot are made of the FOAM. The material is light ,User could breather easily from the hole of the eyes, mouths, and the neck area. you will not feel uncomfortable to have it on for a long time.

There are zero user reviews.

Ruby and Violent J have a few grievances with OISK, the suit seller. For one, the eyes on the mask they received were the same color, not two different colors as the product page showed. Ruby also says that she couldn’t see out of the eyes, that the head was too big, and said the hands were just “oversized mittens.” They also claim that OISK’s custom service was nonexistent.

Folks, online shopping is very dangerous, and you need to do your research before clicking that “buy” button. Luckily, the Insane Clown Posse is here to help. “Fuckin’ online retailers, how do they work?” (Just a little ICP meme deep cut for the true fans.)
