Eyeglasses You Can Leave Lying Around the House
Philippe Starck recently teamed up with Alain Mikli to
design a line of handmade frames with a patented articulation system based on the workings of a human shoulder joint.
The hinges have a 360-degree range of motion, protecting them against inadvertent crushing. They’re in New York first; national distribution starts in March ($750 to $1,800;
986 Madison Ave., nr. 77th St.; 212-472-6085).
