The scent of grilling is summer—but a propane grill on the rooftop is illegal, and charcoal is messy. Weber’s new Q140 electric grill ($279 at Gracious Home, 766 Sixth Ave., at 25th St.; 212-414-5710) is smaller than the usual backyard behemoths, making it good for tiny decks and fire escapes. It fits a couple of decent-size steaks and some corn on the cob on the 189-square-inch surface and comes with a collapsible wheeled stand for easy transport to the outdoors.
