What might look like a glittering tray of maki is in fact Fendi’s Daisy Clutch ($2,500; 677 Fifth Ave., nr. 54th St.; 212-759-4646), a bag that’s at once loud and versatile. It’s big enough to grab-and-go during the day (an iPad fits inside with room to spare), while the shimmering beadwork, inspired by traditional African folk art, makes for an impossible-to-ignore centerpiece for an otherwise simple cocktail outfit come nightfall. And, Fendi being Fendi, the trim is colored mink.
