Designer Wendy Culpepper has Florida roots but a steady clientele of starlets and stylists. Maybe that’s why her latest line is both folksy and modern, mixing hard elements like steel and silver with soft shapes and deep-colored wood. With pieces named “Ophelia” and “Moondance,” it’s hard not to see the bayou influence in her work, even as you pair it with ultra-chic sheath dresses or long layered tees. My favorite part of Wendy’s collection are these Lennon earrings, which go with everything and look like tiny sculptures.
