The Circle Game

The myth of the elephant graveyard is non-existent in New York, unless you’re talking about sunglasses. Where they go when you lose them is a mystery more pressing than The Da Vinci Code, and how to hang onto them is an even bigger dilemma. That’s why I like La Loop, a new accessory line designed specifically to hang onto your shades no matter what your style. Some of its necklaces come in plain or braided leather; some in silver or gold. My favorite is this hand-hammered acetate design from Paris, which looks so cute, I can even wear it alone (until I finally figure out where my sunglasses went!).

$75-$400 at Bergdorf Goodman, 754 Fifth Ave., at 57th St.; 212-753-7300; bergdorfgoodman.com.
