The wedge may be back for another season, but that doesn’t mean everything boho can stay. When even Mary Kate and Ashley ditch their giant plastic necklaces, you know it’s time to move on—and now you can. Local designer Monique Pean makes jewelry in her New York apartment that accent outfits without crowding them (read: no hot-pink charms or love beads allowed). Instead, her delicate chains and stone pendants can layer with sundresses for a chicer summer, and carry into fall as well. As for your leftover plastic charms, save them up—like the tunics and espadrilles before them, they’ll soon be revived.
