Local designer Ronen Jehezkel has an Italian degree in haute couture and a Chelsea boutique that boasts his skills. But instead of tiered dresses or satin-lined suits, Jehezkel builds swimsuits with his partner Parke Lutter, and both are devoted to making the beach a very chic place. Their signature shorts are slim-cut and snap-front, and though their quality ranks with the best of Bergdorf’s, their price pits them against the board shorts at Abercrombie. Tough choice, no?
