There's nothing not to like about a pristine white Parsons-style table. The Gunmetal shoe guys had a desk version I always coveted, but it was custom made and cost a fortune. Luckily for me I came across something very similar at West Elm last week. It is ridiculously chic, affordable, and has two drawers, making it much more useful than a plain Parsons table. I couldn't stop thinking about it, then later that week I was at fashion designer Peter Som's apartment, and it turns out he has that very table and uses it as a desk. It's one of the only non-vintage pieces of furniture in his apartment but works beautifully in the mix.
