I can’t afford a Missoni dress, but last weekend I discovered that I can easily buy a stack of Missoni towels. They’ve got the same trademark zigzags as their famous runway counterparts, but instead of looking great on a Soho dilettante, they look très chic by a bathtub. You can also pack them in your beach bag when sneaking into the Gansevoort pool—after all, if your towels are designer, you must totally belong there, right?
$45 each at Auto, 805 Washington St., between Gansevoort St. and Horatio St., 212-229-2292.
