Though Timex has always been the go-to company for good, basic affordable watches, their new TX line is anything but boring. These new pieces have features you usually see on higher-end watches: a perpetual calendar, world-time system (keeps track of the time in 24 cities), adjustments for daylight saving, and a compass. The collection includes sporty and formal styles, and the best part? No commas in the price tags.
$375 to $625 at Bloomingdale's, 1000 Third Ave., at 59th St.; 212-705-2000.
