Besides Christine Chin and Frank's Chop Shop, the Lower East Side is pretty barren beauty-wise. The latest pit stop for the stressed-out and rough-heeled is Poh Tree Thai Spa. The pint-size, almost claustrophobic (it's 350 square feet) gem's Black-Pepper Body Wrap is 75 minutes of pure exfoliating bliss. Though it's meant to be a detoxifying treatment, the black pepper concoction you're scrubbed down with dramatically heats up for more of a soothing experience. A must-try for achy muscles.
