Fans of Manuel Canovas's bold, island-themed textiles will be excited to know that the French house just launched a quintet of fragrances called Les Fantaisies. Though three of the fragrances smell a bit geriatric, the remaining two smell just as a brand loyalist would imagine—vibrant, light, and fresh. The standout of the bunch is Anse Turquoise which is a gourmet mix of bergamot, grapefruit, ylang-ylang, cinnamon, vanilla, orange blossom, and about fifteen other notes. Even though the summer is coming to an end, one spritz will bring you back to the Riviera—or maybe your local rooftop bar because it smells good enough to drink.
$95 at Bergdorf Goodman, 754 Fifth Ave., at 58th St.; 212-753-7300.
