Salt and pepper cellars (those small bowls that sometimes come with teensy spoons but more often do not) are fine for those who don’t mind people dipping their potentially dirty fingers in seasonings meant to be used by many. Those who get grossed out by that idea may want a more traditional option. This set, designed by Brooklyn-based Domestic Aesthetic, is made of reclaimed wood and finished with low-VOC milk paint. Simple, modern, and no dirty fingers.
$48 for the set.
