Admittedly, we usually have a hard time shelling out for expensive glassware. Sure, we know it's higher quality, but it looks like our trusty set of budget stemware and just makes us edgy at parties. But the Improved! collection of glasses from Netherlands-based designer Esther Derkx is a tabletop splurge we can justify. The wine, Champagne, and port glasses have retro images of athletes and dancers screen-printed on them, dispelling any lurking dinner-party stuffiness. Each glass is sold individually, so you can mix and match your favorite kitschy styles without committing to a full set. Just one more excuse to crack open another bottle.
$15 each at Jan & Äya.
