Unlike other fragrance houses, Le Labo doesn’t churn out new generic products every season to fill quotas. The items created are always well thought out and blended with care. And when Le Labo's discerning noses teamed up with the Laundress to create Rose 31 Signature Detergent ($45), it turned into our new must-have. It’s highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way (either by hand or by machine). The scent delicately lingers on clothes, and the ecoformula isn’t harsh on sensitive skin. Yes, we recognize the fact that high-end laundry detergent is a bit pretentious, but just think about how you’ll smell like Le Labo for $45 instead of the $150 cost of an actual bottle.
$45 at Le Labo, 233 Elizabeth St., nr. Prince St.; 212-219-2230.
