Two years after section one of the High Line opened for widespread sunning, hotel-room voyeurism, and fire-escape cabaret, the chain-link fences barring entry to section two finally come down on June 8. Stretching from 20th to 30th Streets, the sequel improves upon the original in at least one regard, letting visitors capture rays on a natural, 4,900-square-foot lawn (as seen here, above 23rd Street) rather than atop hard wooden lounges.
