The Forget Me Knot ring was designed by Brooklyn artist Kiel Mead, who cast bits of string in silver and gold to get the finished product. The ring is simple without being plain, and it also works as a charm to wear around the neck. Besides being cute, the ring can also be practical—wear it to remember you’ve got a date, or to remind you to call him and cancel.
$38 to $150 at the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, 2 E. 91st St., nr. Fifth Ave.; 212-849-8355.
