Sweaty road-warrior businessmen have their pick of laptop cases: any number of defiantly plain, bulky, utilitarian models from multiple manufacturers. But the venerable computer-accessory company Kensington is targeting a female audience for a change with its new Contour Balance Notebook Case. Both versions (onyx with a muted paisley print inside, or chocolate with a geometric print) are stylish without trying too hard to scream “girlie”—and, more important, they’re smartly designed, with an ergonomic, body-hugging shape (the American Chiropractic Association has given its blessing) and a special shock-absorbing interior cushion. They’re rolling out to big-box retailers later this month, but you can preorder them now on Amazon and at Kensington’s Website.
Preorder online for $79.99.
