Not everyone can pull off a tube top, and we’re not really sure we’d like to see them try, but the Tube-Top lamp is a different story (and not just because it can’t double as a headband). Made by Pablo, a lighting-design studio based in San Fran, the Tube has an acrylic base with a white mesh shade, is available in six hot colors, and is outfitted with a full-range dimmer. Translation: It gives off a subtle but colorful glow of whatever shade of base you choose. So it kind of has the same effect as a lava lamp, fortunately without the accompanying seventies fashion.
