Alessi's new pasta pot, designed by Patrick Jouin and Alain Ducasse, is the closest thing to a rock-star kitchen implement as we'll likely get. It perfectly makes pasta à la Ducasse, a technique more akin to making risotto. Plus it saves potential storage dilemmas: The spoon fits neatly into the handle (which stays cool while cooking).
