Culture fans touring the Whitney Biennial or the recent PULSE art fair might find themselves inspired to fill their walls with something other than movie posters. Until they start pricing the stuff they like. Ouch! Thankfully, there are outlets for buying original art (albeit produced in multiples) by young painters and illustrators, that cost just a tad more than a glass of good wine. Charmingwall is one of them. Every print on the site costs $20 (matting and framing are extra, but most prints don't top $80 matted and framed). Now that’s a sight to behold.
$20 for prints (framing extra) at Charmingwall.com or 191 W. 4th St., nr. Jones St.; 212-206-8235.
