When I saw this Zeno zit zapper, I swore it couldn’t be real. Besides looking like something you’d see in The Matrix, it seemed to make an impossible claim: to erase pimples from your face in just twelve hours. After some initial fears of getting electrocuted—even though I knew very well that it’s battery-operated—I tried it just in case, and here’s the deal: it does work, thanks to tiny, intense heat waves that come from the Zeno and seep through your pores. The Zeno is expensive, but surveying the cabinet full of gels, scrubs, and pads that I’ll never need to use again, I’d say it’s actually a bargain.
$225 at Sephora, multiple locations, sephora.com.
