The first time Janna (pronounced “Zhanna”) re-shaped my eyebrows, everyone asked me if I had lost weight. So I wrote about Janna (who works her magic at Sothys), and afterwards I had a hard time getting an appointment. I have since learned that Janna isn’t just incredible with eyebrows, but she also gives a fantastic facial (I go for the Hydroptimale whenever I can get in). Now Sothys is open every other Sunday (July 23, August 6, and so on) to accommodate new clients who want to experience Janna’s various talents but have been unable to before. Maybe now I’ll be able to get an appointment!
$175 for Hydroptimale facial at L'Institut Sothys New York, 37 W. 57th St., between Fifth and Sixth Aves.; 212-688-9400; sothys-usa.com.
