Take Note

The latest line of products at Salvor Kiosk, the studio shop which specializes in simple, international items (like crowbars from Japan), hails from south of the border. Though you can expect to find the usual Mexican favorites—ponchos and papier-mâché dolls—you’ll be surprised by the wide selection. Most of the wares are things that I—even on my many trips all over Mexico—have never seen. My personal favorites are these three-by-five lined notebooks in the perfect shade of red. If they don’t do it for you, check out the rest of the site—the Swedish plastic-freezer-bag set is still available.
