On a recent visit to Loehmann’s, I spotted shelves full of tweed Chuck Taylor All Stars. I’ll admit that I’m tired of seeing everyone wearing the brand, but I loved the Chanel-meets-Converse sensibility of these. Available in three color combos—though I’m partial to the black-white-and-gray ones—the sneakers are a nice twist on the plain old black, while still being young and hip. And they’re great to wear on cold winter days: The tweed is warmer than plain canvas.
