I've been obsessed with wrinkles—or, at least, the threat of them—since I was 25, and when I turned 30, I nearly marched into the plastic surgeon's chair, ready for my Botox shots (common sense got the better of me). Suffice it to say I've tried every lotion and potion I can find, so long as it promises to rid me of ghastly lines, giant pores, or any other flaw I might spy in my magnified mirror. And I’ve yet to find satisfaction—until I got my hands on Laboratoire Remède's 3-Minute Peel and SuperC Serum. A combo of amino acids and potent vitamin C, the peel works to lessen lines and spots. So maybe I left it on for more than three minutes, but my skin sure felt baby-butt soft, and the calming balm kept my face soothed afterward. Between weekly peels, I slather my skin daily in collagen-boosting SuperC Serum. Does all the science behind this regime really work? Who knows. But my skin looks and feels amazing (the compliments keep coming)—and I've put off Botox for yet another few years.
$125 for the 3-Minute Peel; $150 for the 3-Minute Peel Starter System; $88 for the SuperC Serum. All at Blissworld.com.
