Of all the designers to emerge from Down Under over the past few years, one name continues to come up—Karen Walker. The native New Zealander has a knack for making the ordinary extraordinarily different, but in a good way, like her latest take on the singlet (a.k.a. men’s undershirt). Cut for a guy but built for a lady, this basic button-front tank is military-inspired and casual enough for everyday. Done in a pale mint green, it’s pastel without being overly pretty. Imagine you’re an edgy but sweet leader of the band, or rather of the pack, just like Walker.
