Travel bookstore Idlewild Books is offering new Spanish- , French- , and Italian-language classes for novice and intermediate speakers this spring. The first ten-week session begins April 17 and meets once a week in the store’s book-lined back room. The twelve-person classes are taught by native speakers, who hand out news articles and menus for group dissection ($275; 12 W. 19th St., nr. Fifth Ave.; 212-414-8888).
